Safety Requirements:

(From the 2008 Notice of Race)
3.0 SAFETY
3.1 All boats shall conform to the current International Sailing Federation Special Regulations Governing
Offshore and Oceanic Racing, including the US Sailing Prescriptions for Monohulls (or Multihulls),
Category 3 With Life Raft. Life rafts are not required to have a canopy or insulated floor.
3.2 All competing boats shall carry the following NOAA charts – Number(s) 11462, 11452 & 11442.
3.3 Each Skipper or Owner shall declare his or her vessel’s eligibility and shall affirm that the vessel complies
with any and all equipment requirements for this race.
